The well known Fox News spin doctor Bill O'Reilly has been the subject of multiple sexual harassment settlements that have been piling up behind the scenes at the news organization. Bill O'Reilly's show The O'Reilly Factor is now facing the loss of revenue due to multiple advertisers leaving the show due to the exposure of his latest sexual harassment settlement. It seems that FOX News has taken to immediately paying accusers in order to avoid exposure in order to keep the allegations of the pattern of assaults from public knowledge.

All this comes just after Bill O'Reilly had attacked a Black congresswoman Maxine Waters for her hair, stating that she was wearing a James Brown wig in an effort to demoralize her and detract from the congresswoman's comments. The show host has had a pattern of degrading and morally subjugating minorities and women on his show and in his personal life. The new accusations and advertising boycott has seemingly overtaken the spotlight of deplorable behavior attached to Bill O'Reilly.

Fox News and Bill O'Reilly have had a long stemming history of sexually harassing female co-hosts and anchors threatening to advance or destroy their news careers as a way to intimidate their victims. These allegations against O'Reilly started in 2002 and now total five women to whom FOX News has paid a total sum of $13 million. The allegations are not only unique to Bill O'Reilly but also have been brought against the former FOX News chairman Roger Ailes. Many believe that this pattern of sexual assaults and sexual harassment has become systemic withing the news organization.

Despite public condemnations, advertising boycotts and it being the beginning of the Sexual Assault Awareness Month, the newly elected Donald Trump has come to the defense of Bill O'Reilly stating that O'Reilly has "done nothing wrong". Donald Trump is not a stranger to sexual assault allegations as several assault charges as well as the revealing audio between him and Billy Bush where Trump describes how he grabs and kisses women without their asking or giving consent. There are still current law cases against the standing US leader to date.

The "No Spin Zone" host can often be found on his show demeaning the likes of the #blacklivesmattter movement, immigrants, women's rights and how their motives are "Un-American" and morally wrong. As many FOX viewers are well documented through studies to having a lower knowledge of facts and current events than people whom watch no news at all. And these viewers will likely continue to support O'Reilly and his new book on family values called "Old School" despite the hypocrisy. The irony and hypocrisy of the accusations that contradict Bill O'Reilly and his book's fake moral narrative are not lost on the comedy circuit as comedians such as Trevor Noah take to mining it for the wealth of it's truly golden comedic value during the lows of O'Reilly's hypocrisy.
